Motivation for coming to Ashesi:
I was actually lost and confused about my choice of university. Ashesi seemed to be the best looking door and so I took it and they loved me.
Contributions you have made in Ashesi:
I really do not think I have made that much of an impact. Yes, I try hard to make myself seen and heard but I believe that committing oneself to the statutes of this institution is the greatest contribution one could make. Ashesi students are making the effort to do the right things in their own little corners and thus making the greater dream more tangible. This enables them to leave a lasting legacy that they should each be lauded for.

What you strive to become:
Nothing much actually, just a more refined and disciplined me.
How do you like to reach out to the outside community?
By being myself. It’s the only “how” I know.
Advice to other students:
Though we are not islands, life just boils down to you and what you make of
yourself. Others matter but in the end and when you are finally six feet under
it’s just you, there’s a coffin and there are bugs and maggots, but it’s still
just you! Believe me: who you were and what you did will determine the nature of
your coffin. |
