Ashesi University
Foundation is a 501 (c)(3)
non-profit organization located
in Seattle, Washington, in the
United States. All
donations made to the
Foundation are tax deductible
As
an international organization,
Ashesi University attracts
people and resources from
many countries. The Foundation has
played a major role in the
establishment of the University
since its inception in 1999.
A Board of Trustees
oversees the Foundation and also
provides guidance and oversight
for the University in Ghana.
The Foundation continues to
provide significant financial
support to the University.
Grants are made to supplement
tuition income and allow the
University to continue to invest
in program development.
At the
Foundation we work hard to
ensure we are accountable to our
donors and use every dollar
donated as efficiently as
possible. Historically,
fundraising costs have been kept
to less than 5% of total
expenses. Each year the
Foundation's financial
statements are reviewed by
independent external auditors and
are published publicly to
ensure financial transparency
and integrity.
