2022 was a year of significant steps for the Education Collaborative and its partners. From holding a first regional hub convening to expanding overall reach to 149,000 students, the Collaborative has continued to drive impact across the region. This year’s annual report highlights key touch points for the year.
From hosting 200+ participants at its first hybrid Annual Convening in Accra, to deepening engagements with institutions in Francophone Africa through a regional meeting in Niamey, the Collaborative is building a network that will shape Africa’s higher education systems and its economic and social future.
Through its work this year, the Collaborative has supported four higher education institutions to strengthen their career development systems, reaching 1800 students and 36 faculty. The Collaborative also facilitated an ethical action capacity-building workshop for 200 teacher trainees and published a matrix for evaluating entrepreneurial ecosystems in higher education institutions.
